Help Me Sleep

Welcome to "Help Me Sleep"  – A short, easy to read guide, which shows you how to overcome your sleep problems. In this guide to a good night's sleep, you will have the opportunity to ‘sit in’ on a therapy session, similar to the kinds of sessions that I have had with numerous people down through the years, who sought help in overcoming their sleep problems.  You will learn new ways of dealing with your insomnia.  You will discover how ‘trying’ to sleep serves only to keep you awake.  You will learn to replace ‘trying’ with a solution that works by helping you achieve quality sleep in a ‘natural’ way.                                                                                                      

Does worry keep you awake at night?                          

When you are stressed or worried, one of the first things that you may notice is that you are having trouble sleeping.  Some people say they can get off to sleep ok, but that they waken early and can’t get back to sleep.  Others say that they can’t get to sleep at all – they watch the clock all night, because their minds are too active – too much stuff going on – they are replaying the events of the day or thinking ahead to tomorrow or next week, ‘What if this happens?’ ‘What if that happens?’  This guide will show you what you need to do about your worries so that they don’t keep you awake at night.
